This girl who attends the same lecture as me somehow always captures my attention. That’s all I know about her- that she’s in the same lecture as me. Wait a moment, don’t jump into assumptions. This isn’t a crush. It’s a different feeling altogether. I have quite a talent for differentiating very similar feelings, even in the most subtle manner. The way she dresses does not strike me as attractive, unlike how the north pole of a magnet is attracted to the south. She is just simply alluring. As alluring as how each setting sun sends a silent and gentle resonance through my heart. A natural feeling like that.
What does she dress in? Jeans and Ts. Very casual stuff. Nothing idiosyncratic on her; no earrings, no make up. It leaves me wondering, what is it I find in her that is alluring? Left and right of me, I see ladies with manicures, concealers and stuff. Don’t they ever get tired of spending all those time and effort putting those stuff on a daily basis? They look pretty, attractive and all. But that’s all it is to me; nothing more, nothing less.
Maybe that is exactly what I find alluring about that girl. Her nonchalance to the surroundings around her, the confidence in her smile and those brightly lit eyes which speak nothing. Nothing about what I expect to hear from the norm. The most amazing thing is that she does not appear to be weighed down by the standards of actions or rather ideals of how a girl should look. Comparing her to the other ladies who are outstandingly pretty and attractive in the way they dress, by standards, she’s simple and plain. But if you look at it from a different angle, looking simple in the midst of strikingly attractive ladies, in it's basic essense, is something beautiful. Beauty in simplicity. I suppose living in an increasingly complex world, that is what everyone really needs. Simplicity.
